Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement

The $200,000 Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement is the premier award for environmental science, environmental health and energy conferring great benefit upon mankind. During its forty-four year history, the Prize has recognized outstanding, world-class environmental accomplishments and contributions of seventy-one individuals and four organizations. Those recipients encompass the spectrum of environmental concerns, including environmental policy, environmental health, air and water pollution, ecosystem disruption, loss of biodiversity, population, energy and food resources.

Eligibility: Living individuals or public or private institutions of any nation, are eligible for nomination.

Note: If institutional nomination is sought (individuals may also nominate candidates outside of the institutional process), please submit a candidate suggestion form at least three months in advance of the external deadline to recommend a candidate to the President’s Advisory Committee on Awards, Honours and Prizes.
