Bank of Canada (BoC) Governor's Award

The Governor’s Award provides financial support to academics who are recognized for their expertise and research in areas important to the Bank's core functions: monetary policy, financial systems, currency, and funds management. 

Eligibility: Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have obtained a PhD within 10 years of their nomination and be employed in an associate or assistant professor position during the two-year term of the award.

Note: These are institutional nominations. Institutional Strategic Awards (ISA) coordinates the internal selection of nominees and/or institutional endorsements. To promote equity, diversity and inclusion, departments and faculties should ensure that all eligible candidates are considered and given the opportunity to self-identify. To recommend a candidate to the President’s Advisory Committee on Awards, Honours and Prizes, please submit a candidate suggestion form by the internal deadline.
